Intermittent Pinging Sound: Front Passenger Suspension
Starting to hear a distinct "pinging" sound for about 5 seconds at a time from the front passenger side, assuming it's a suspension issue. Occurs when turning over rough road conditions (e.g. potholes, freeway under construction etc.).
It's not happening too often - my daily commute is ~40 miles and I hear it maybe once or twice during the drive. Any clues as to the source of the noise? Is my wheel going to fall off

For D4's, front sway bar links are the probably the most common and relatively early wear item. Also easy to change out. Could tie into your description. If so, do both. OE parts or equivalent (Lemforder, maybe TRW or Delphi) are the better way to go, even for somewhat more $.
