For those who have done this, does the bulb housing simply pull straight out? I unscrewed the fastener on mine but the housing was still firmly in place and I couldn't get it moving with my hands. Want to be sure there isn't any trick before I start shoving a trim removal tool/blade under the gasket to pop it off.

There in there pretty firmly. At least mine were. I used a trim tool to loose it.

Finally did this today. FWIW, on my car the housing fit so precisely that I couldn’t even get a trim tool or blade in to pop them out. I finally got them to drop out by lightly knocking on the trunk just about the license plate. Car looks so much better with LEDs.

Better yet, tilt the angle of the LEDs inside the housing. You should be able to easily adjust the intensity by doing so.

I just installed and uninstalled my deAutoLED plate lights last night. Left one flicked from the start, no matter how I adjusted it. Fitment could have been better. The light housing had a curve to them, and didn't want to seat very well. $50 wasted.

Hi, this is not something we heard and could be troubleshooted maybe. Did you email Support@deAutoLED.com with more information? It not being something they seen they would like to help and try to fix it and figure out what might've happened.

Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.
