For our international members: I am hoping someone can post (or send me a message with) decent phone pics or a pdf of the relevant pages from a recent year English language A8/S8 Owner's Manual from the UK or other locale that cover Drive Select. That is, the basic "Car" choice for Dynamic, Comfort, Individual, etc. Gas (petrol) are what I am looking for if manuals are different for petrol and diesel, and preferably in last three or four years. The U.S. manuals are on the Audi USA site, but I haven't found a counterpart source for them in any other English language countries I checked or the Audi corporate/world site.

It's for another VCDS mod I am playing with. Thanks!

I have a September 2010 UK manual which has a few pages for Drive Select - is this any use to you?

I also have VCDS so can extract any info you might find useful from my 2011 3.0 TDi

Thanks. So far only lead. If yours has an Efficiency setting and manual has sort of a table explaining how the settings affect different aspect of car (air ride, ACC if so equipped, throttle response, etc.), that's what I am trying to find specific to D4. I am almost sure at least the later ones (including S8) should have the set up in Europe. Could have come in about when stop-start popped up on many of them. To be clear, not looking for stop-start, but rather the Drive Select menu choices where you spin the wheel on the fly to pick any one of them.

Mine doesn't have an efficiency setting, but I've attached the manual pages just in case they are of some use.

My 2015 has the efficiency setting on drive select i'll take some pictures of the the book and post them.

from memory it reduces CC output and something else?

Thanks. Will be helpful. It apparently has its own mix and match among the settings you can otherwise pick in the Individual set up, but at least from C7 A6 documentation a few are apparently unique. Throttle and torque, and A/C are described for A6 as different than the other modes. Also seems to feather CC more as you approach another vehicle (as opposed to how fast it catches back up, which is how I think of as the other D4 settings varying). That CC one isn't described in the A6 materials I have.
