Surprising that its not a little less for you.
That is surprising. Probably based on mileage. This is with 63k miles.

I was at 50,250. Might be worth calling and trying to negotiate?
USAA was recommended by BMW dealer who said they were hands down the best (A8L replaced my 750i)
It really says something when the dealerships are recommending a competitors product.

That makes sense. I ran mine again, now have 63k miles, vs when I first got mine 6 months ago with 54k and I believe it was closer to $3200. The coverage is excellent. I was just reviewing and it covers about everything. It's not a bad deal if your car has issues. I have the cpo for 37k / 2 years. We shall see if I need it.

I had a local mechanic hook up the car to a machine and he got a ton of low voltage fault codes. The mechanic mentioned that this might be because the car sat for a few days on the lot. There weren't any dash lights or issue that were noticed with the electronics, anybody had that happen before when pulling codes? Other than that I seems in great condition no noises so far or accessory issues.

You can get that when the battery starts to run low. It takes quite a while of sitting for that to happen or someone spending a lot of time running through the accessories without starting the car. It can also point to a failing battery, which as it progresses presents strange symptoms.

+1, though I would put less drama on it. It can happen simply with people playing with it in a showroom or lot. On the D3, it happens in 30-60 minutes where I have seen it many a time, with a good battery. Even the mechanic running the diagnostics could himself have triggered it if he left ignition on for a long time. If either ignition is left in on but non running position and/or MMI screen and sound system are on otherwise, it WILL run battery down and get those codes. Not an "if," but a "when."
