Thanks guys for all your input. The car is due at the port this coming week and am anticipating delivery by end of the following week. I think I'll pass on this insurance. I generally keep the tires hard with 39 to 40 psi, so I'm hopeful that will help a bit. If I do anything, it would be to get expel protection for the front end---the expressway on which I frequently travel can be like going through a sandblaster at times, so this protection is probably more meaningful. Appreciate all the feedback 😊

Cna
I got CNA tire and wheel on my last car (13 S6). In 6 months, driving winter roads in DC I had $4k in work done under the warranty. Between tires and 6 bent rims it became almost a joke. They never denied a claim... cost $995 on the S6. Needless to say, I got tire and rim on my new s8, through Fidelity and I think I am going to return it and switch to CNA national as fidelity doesnt cover cosmetic and has a $5,000 limit.

I bought my 2013 S8 in February of 2014 and the dealership sold me a 5 year tire and rim coverage policy for a little over $1,000. I still haven't had to use it, even with the condition of the Chicagoland area roads!
