New lamb to the slaughter!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to finally send a note to introduce myself. I have been following this board for about 9 months now as I searched from my A8, and now I have her, I figured it would finally be time to say hi!
I want to thank everyone for everything I have learned already from here (which helped immensely in the selection and buying process) and really hope to learn more, and hopefully be able to actually give back and contribute in time!

I'm sorry, how rude of me! I don't have a lot of pics (yet!) but I will post what I have. It's a 2014, A8L, 3.0 TDI, with (now) 33,000 miles, blue pearlescent exterior, with drivers assist, cold weather, rear comfort seats, and the Audi special interior package (Balao brown) and it has the B&O sound system.
I found this in Boulder CO, so after PPI's were completed I flew out there Friday to get her. I finally managed to get her at 2pm (local time) on Saturday. Then drove her back through the night, arriving home in Florida at 3pm the next day (24 hrs with the DST change). I am so impressed with her and how she rides, in fact the first thing I did when I made it home was tell the wife we are going for a ride so she could see the car!
Hopefully the pictures attach (and are the right way up!)...

Thank you! The interior didn't really do it for me the first time I saw a picture of it, seemed like too much brown. But the more and more I looked, the more it grew on me. I am glad it did, because pictures do it no justice at all!! It is a beautiful interior in person, I am glad I found it...

Congrats and welcome to the club. The TDI is a great engine. I REALLY like that you got the B&O system, I didn't get it in my car and wish I'd had the opportunity. As for the interior, I agree that pics don't quite do it justice, although my personal preference is still the cross-stitched Valcona leather.

Yes!! That is my car! The vin matches! The dealer did say he picked it up in AZ....
That's weird that you remember it. And you are correct, it does have the rear heat/cool and massage features!
