Default Loosing oil with this oil pressure regulation valve electrical error

Hi guys am have this code and my car 2017 Q7 loosing oil 250 miles 1 quart. Just came back from dealership after service and I assume they just cleared all the codes and didn't do nothing to fix actual problems

Still no updates? Got the same code on my ‘17 A8 3.0. Hoping it’s not doing damage going untreated. Anyone know if it’s a big deal to change? Saw a video on an S6 and looks like a nightmare.

Looks like I'm headed down this road as well. Anyone who has done it on a 4.0 D4, does the AC system truly need discharged? I pushed my boroscope down into the area and the compressor certainly covers the valve, but if i can get away with just unbolting the compressor from the block and working behind/around it, I'd rather take that route.

How did you end up getting around the AC Compressor for the Camshaft Solenoid Control Valve on the 4.0T. Did you have to discharge the AC system. Thank you for any insight.

Haven't gotten to it yet, the next oil change is coming up very soon, I'll report back once I know.

Change of plans, I decided to get at least one more change interval in while the pump is stuck in high pressure mode to have more data via oil analysis to know whether or not the low pressure mode causes more wear and if so, how much, compared to the ECM switching as intended.
