PNCS(Noise Cancelling) vs Normal tire
For those confused, PNCS = Pirelli Noise Cancellation System. They have a layer of foam on the inside of the tire to dampen road noise. If you look on the tire where the size specification is you will see a little "mute" icon. I believe there are other brands that do this, but these are the factory tires for our cars.
Can anyone here comment on the difference between the PNCS factory tires vs a normal tire in regards to road noise?

I made the switch to the noise cancelling tires. Definently quieter than stock but after about 5k miles they start getting noisy. Plus the foam failed, unglued from inner tire and caused front to vibrate. Ended up removing the foam. Called for warranty support and had to jump through hoops. Wouldnt spend my $$$$ on them again.

I made the switch about 2 years ago; noticeably quieter and seem to ride more smoothly. Very pleased.
