Default Rear brake job instructions

I cant seem to find proper instructions for d4 rear brake replacement

could someone who may have done his/her brakes post step by step instructions for the vcds to open and close the E brake to replace pads and rotors on my 2011 a8l as i need to change mine soon and I've heard people losing fingers doing the wrong way

Could the rear caliper piston get pushed in if you do the brakes while car is running ?

No, it has the be commanded to retract in. If you are asking if you can use the car to power the computer while you command, yes. This is what most people do. Just make sure your not huffing carbon monoxide.

What would i need for tools to do that the video above looks like i need a machine i am sure there is a simpler diy guide.

You need to command the parking brake to retract with VCDS something similar. Check out Ross-tech.com The simple solution is to have a mechanic do it for you.
