Retrofit RS7 Mufflers

Hi All,

I have a 2015 S8 that i've been sitting on for a year and a bit now and am looking to make a few subtle changes, one of them being exhaust sound.

I've always liked the stock sound of the RS7 Performance and I can currently snag the RS7 mufflers from CL for a fairly cheap price.

My question is does anyone know how difficult it would be to retrofit the RS7 muffler on to my S8?

Also, would changing the mufflers even make a difference on the S8?

Any help/advice is appreciated.

I feel your pain. My good friend just purchased a 2016 S3 and it’s 2.0 exhaust note sounds more aggressive than the 4.0 in my S8.

My experience in your car indicates you have broken through the sound barrier in a matter of seconds and can't really hear the exhaust note....
