Sequential Turn Signals
I have noticed on some YouTube videos that European versions of the S8 have sequential turn signals (like current Mustangs) both front and rear. I think those are cool. Does anyone know if this feature be retrofitted to USA spec D4’s?

Wow. Not one reply.
Here is a short video of a European S8 that shows the turn signals

I saw an option in the menu for clicking on the feature and activated the button. Nothing changed so I figure it takes more research.
Past A8’s required telling the computer the car was non-USA model and enabling “torch mode” to get full use of the halogen high beams so I assume a similar function is required in the D4. I’ll keep looking.

Here in the middle East, the transition to sequential was rolled out as part of the face lift in 2015. Im not gonna lie, I am a fan

It’s not that the DOT considers it a no-no, per se. it has to do with regs dealing with visual surface area of the turn signal lights and the rear light reflectors. The Ford Mustang has sequential rear turn signal lights, but they are larger in surface area. New gen Audi’s here in the US now have the sequential turn signals (A3 and A4), but they also have separate rear light reflectors built into their bumper covers—that gets the lighting design in compliance with the DOT.

Maybe no replies = no known answer? Ask the guys in Europe, perhaps auf Deutsch? ...not been done here as far as I know. Or, buy the Mustang. Audi S8 drivers don't notice those tail lights so much though...
