Service due light reset
Good afternoon,
I usually service my 2012 Audi A8L myself. The only problem is to resetting the "Service Due" light. Last time Audi Dealer asked for $85 to reset it for me. I bought a scanner (Foxwell NT510) from amazon. The seller claimed that it would rest the service due light but it did not. The device is very confusing. Very hard to navigate. Customer serive is non existant. I think they did not even install the Audi Specific software on that device before they shipping it to me. Any way,
Which deivce do you recommand for this matter?
Thank you very much

Abar, maybe you can track down your local VCDS person. They can reset the SERVICE reminder for you. I did one for someone last night; takes about 2 mins.

That is a person who has the VCDS program and cable to connect to VAG products.

Works for me on my 2013 Audi A8 3.0T. I haven't had any issues resetting my oil service or the higher level service reminders. You may have to pay for the monthly or annual plan to do so. But I haven't had any issues.
