Should I wait for the 2014 A8?
I am planning on trading in my 06 A8 for a new NWB A8. Should I wait a few extra months for the 2104, or is it basically the same car?

I'd guess that in the next couple of months we should know more about any upcoming major changes for 2014MY---that's typically when the first order guides come out for the new MY.

I've seen comments on this forum about an A8 refresh coming in 2014, but I'm not clear if that's for MY 2014 available in the U.S. by this Fall (2013)---or rather a 2015 MY refresh coming here in Fall 2014. Just not sure at this point. Also consider that dealers are just getting in 2014 A8 V6TDI demo cars, and there doesn't seem to be any exterior refresh differences---so my suspicion is that the refresh will be on the 2015 MY cars.

Is this considered to be a preliminary peek at the options and prices or do we think that it is how it is going to be for 2014 orders? I realize that they can change anything at any time, but I'd like to know how trustable that this document is.

Looks to be legitimate 2014 O/G. Not unusual for some changes to occur. IMO not good idea to bundle dual pane glass and alcantara headliner into the expensive and not needed Luxury pkg. On the other hand, the Sports pkg. is no longer dependent on last year's Sport Design pkg, which is a good thing IMO. Wish they kept the rear Sports differential and Dynamic Steering as a stand alone option like they did for the 2011MY---adds terrific handling capability without needing the somewhat harsher 20" wheels/tires. Looks like you can also order the rear seat comfort pkg with the Sports pkg, which I think was not the case for 2013.
