Default Slight bugger tire

Hi
so I was give set of tires for my 2011 audi a8L
Org tires are 265/40/20
Snows are 235/65/17
The chart comparison shows a difference of 2.5% of bigger diameter.
Will this damage my car?
Thanks

Default No. As long all of them are the same.

The only thing it would be is the speedometer will be slightly off.

No damage scenarios as long as all 4 tires the same size relative to each other, and have generally similar wear among the set. Since speedo is probably a bit optimistic on the stock tires/sizing, the difference may actually end up pretty close to true. If want to know, run one of the GPS apps on a smart phone and compare speedo read out as it stands now against the app/GPS computed speed. A guess is you will find speedo reads a MPH or so high at 60 MPH, and then you can compute what the 2.5% or so will do.

Given the diameter change, I am guessing they come with wheels (rims)? Be sure they are the "newer" Audi hub center size. If they came from a D2 or D3 A8 , or a C6 A6 or previous or something like that, the hub center won't work.
