Small Trunk - 2011 Audi A8 & A8L
I own a 2008 Audi A8L and I always thought that the trunk (15 cu. ft.) was small for a full size car. I test drove a 2011 A8 today only to learn that the trunk on this model is even smaller (13.2 cu. ft.) than the previous year's model. Moreover, the Mercedes S550 4Matic trunk has a capacity of 16.4 cu. ft. and the BMW 7 series trunk has a capacity of 14.0 cubic feet.
The 2011 Audi A8 and A8L are both longer than previous model years. What portion of the car benefited from the increase in length as compared to prior year models of the A8?
