So much for the radar cruise control update
 

Well, it looks like the latest update to the cruise control has been a step backwards.

The car sometimes now just ignores stationary or moving vehicles in front of you!

I had it on cruise this morning at 30mph, a car about 100 metres ahead backed out of its drive. I thought I'd let the car slow itself down, but it didn't. It didn't even detect a vehicle ahead.

It's done this a few times now, the garage took it back in and recalibrated the sensors (out by 1 and 2 degree's respectively). But this has not helped.

It sometimes also does it when you accelerate hard and then put the cruise on, it doesn't see the car ahead when it reaches it (it might 5 or 10 seconds before you'd expect to be in range on the sensors).

I'm afraid another DIS reports going to Germany tomorrow.

Apart from that, managed just under 50mpg (UK) the other day on a 40 mile journey. Can't complain about that.
