Hi,

Proud owner of a 2015 3.0tdi SE Exective sport which I've had now for 6 months and clocked up 16k miles.

Anyways, I had a slight altercation with a deer a few weeks ago which leaves me needing to pretty much replace most of the front panels ( bumper, grill, bonnet, wing etc etc ) so I was thinking.....why not have my insurance company fit the facelift sport bumper rather be the more boring SE executive sport bumper.
So my Audi approved body shop have looked at this option and seem confident the parts should be compatible with no modifications. Has anyone done this mod ? Am I right in thinking a new bumper, grill and radar sensor covers are all that's required and should bolt on ?

On the topic of upgrades, i was also thinking I'd like to add a TV tuner , has anyone atempted or researched this ? Are the aerial, power and connects present ? Plug and play ?

Another thing I would like is the thicker sporter S8 heated wheel, has one atempted this ? The prices bit seems to be the airbag which of course I already have so the upgrade cost should be much but I'm unsure if the heated bit requires a switch or module anywhere

Ouch. the thing I would want to check for compatibility would be the adaptive cruise sensors and associated mounting points. I'm not sure if they are different in the S8, the sensors on the prefacelift are integrated with the covers. Otherwise, go for it. That deer managed to muck up a lot, didn't it?

I've chicken out, too many maybes and perhaps's plus my insurance company are paying for it and the repairers are worried they might discover the alternative part numbers....Warranty is also a concern as ACC sensors need to be spot on with no wiggle room from Audi if a problem occurs.

Yeah, for a low impact collision it's made a right mess LOL
