squeaky seatbelts?

2 year old A8 with 21k miles. anyone having a problem with seatbelts that "creak" when they are being used - I have one in back seat and I think the driver seatbelt starting to do it now.

Yup my driver's seat one does it also. Creaks when I shift in my seat. Goes away after a while.

Squeaky Seat Belts

Yes indeed, lubrication may be the answer....Consider Armour all...if you have ever spilt some on

any floor you know how slippery that can be. Another option is baby talcum powder, used in tire and inner tube repair.

Similar problem with the rear seatbelt. The frog-like squeak was inside the slot where the buckle inserts. A light spray of silicone into the slot solved the squeak.
