Suspension calibration
Hello guys/gals. Been trying to find some answers about suspension calibration. I've managed to lower my 2012 A8 10mm and this seems to be my maximum as my front left seems to be a lot higher than the right.
Front left = 430mm high and the max value I can input is 440mm. This then limits how much I can adjust the other corners as I want the car sitting level.
Question that I can't find an answer to is, does sitting in the driver seat affect the suspension? I'm in the UK and sit on the right. I'm wondering if my weight is affecting the part of the calibration when you do the section "start up to reference level"
If not I possibly have a sticky/faulty height sensor.

Putting weight anywhere "affects" it, but to me it doesn't matter and car has no way to read that directly. System is calibrating for height, not weight. Weight would be correlated to air pressure used to drive each strut unit and could result in all kinds of height fluctuations, while height is just read off the sensor that is looking at physical movement up and down. Once you set/calibrate the height as a baseline, then it adjusts for weight automatically.
