I don't have a torque spec for you, other than to say tighten it down to about where they were when you took them off. I'd bet you could do it from a pit or the car on ramps without issue. Clearance was the only problem I had with it on the ground.
The car needs to be on the ground and have it's full weight on the suspension when you fully tighten the bolts or you'll make short work of the rubber in the new bushings. So doing the final tighten with the car on ramps is perfectly fine.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but yes, that's what I was saying. I did not have another good way to work under the car, so wheels up for removal and getting the new ones roughed into place was the best way, but I could wiggle under it enough in lift mode to do that final tightening.

As a side note, do not work under the car if it is only supported by a jack. Ever, no exceptions.

Well, that's unfortunate. I'm sorry you're having to do it twice so quickly, but it's a cheap lesson in the dangers of unproven aftermarket parts. Especially considering even the factory ones have a relatively short life. At least it's an easy fix.

I believe I had to have mine replaced due to the clunking sound over bumps but my car is CPO'd so dealer did it gratis. Dealer also said I was the third person in that week with this issue.

Too cheap, not sure that will last for you. The part number is 4H0411317C, but if you're not buying it from a dealer's site or storefront, make sure it's Lemforder. I'm not sure the best place to buy there in the UK, but if it helps your search, it is also called a stabilizer link.

They will charge more. Ask if the dealer has an online parts store, ones in America do and they often charge less online, sometimes significantly less. In any case, don't bother with anything other than OEM or Lemforder. Historically speaking, when it comes to suspension components, you're lucky if you buy one of those random ones and it lasts 6 months. In short, you get what you pay for.
