how do i clear warning lights with vcds
I was hoping that someone would be able to help me with clearing my brake light on my dash. I do have the vag-com from ross tech but can't figure out how to clear that damn brake light that keeps staring at me in the face. I don't need a brake warning light to let me know I need new pads, I just need that sweet grinding noise that tells me that I'm out of pad. Any help would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately you can’t clear that light. I jumped each pad wear sensor at the connector by each wheel. Took 15 mins total and problem solved.

Yep, not VCDS work. Either jumper the sensor, or way better change the pads. At least for D3 and 2 era, you could buy plug and play jumper ends for when you ran performance aftermarket pads that didn't incorporate built in sensors. On the D4 the sensors are back to the (fragile) separate part stuff.
