that’s good I have an ‘14 and it doesn’t have the heads up display. Night vision is still helpful in the city.
I don’t know if it will pick up large animals as I haven’t driven back roads at night.

That's great to know Mike! I'm 6'3 and sat in the back with plenty of room so felt good in the decision. Will more than likely keep it 2-3years at a guess.

Glad to hear you like the night vision assistant, plenty of deer running around where I am, so might be an extra help!

I have an L, but the level of concern over the size of the rear seat room in the NWB models always amuses me. I think the NWB model only looks cramped in comparison to the L which is limo sized.

4.0L owner here. I enjoy the ability to pack the family and guests for longer trips in the A8L without pulling up my seat. However, every time I see an S8, I feel the slightest remorse. If I had to do over again, I would go the S8 route. There are so many details that make the S8 gorgeous. IMHO, your kids are still young, you should be fine with the space and upgrade when the time is right. Best of luck with your decision.

THIS!
This is what I was afraid my mind would be like. Absolutely loved the A8L, ticked all the boxes.....except I would always wonder/want the S8. I appreciate your honesty on this!

My wife has a new Sienna minivan, which she loves and is perfect for cramming the entire house inside of

- Ordered the S8 earlier today!! Wahoo!

I was in the same boat. Had been looking at 2015 A8s until I drove an S8! There is no comparison. I had to go to 2013 but I got the S8 and it is amazing. Go for it you’ll love it.

Great to know Sirkar! I figured, if it puts a huge grin on my face every time I drive, it's totally worth it.

Thanks BTAudi, looks loads of room!

Kmk786 - deposit paid. Waiting to finalize a collection date.
The dealership is bringing it in out of state so might take a while
Soon as it's here I'll get some pics and a review up.
