Tow Hook Plates on a D4 A8L ? Radar Issues?
I'm looking to install Tow Hook License plates on my 2016 A8L.
I have already done the research and found a product i'd like to use ( ). The question is, will this interfere with any of the radars/ sensors on the front bumper?
Found many audi owner installing them but on older S4s and such, which don't have as many radars/ sensors are the A8.
Any feedback would be great.

Tow hook plates?
im not sure I really understand why you would have those? You say the A4 owners install them a lot, is there something I'm missing? I thought if a Quattro broke down it required flatbed towing

Most of the photos I found have older A4s and S4s that don't have Radars in the bumpers.

I've held up a plate to that area of the car and it doesn't seam to cover any sensors that I know of. It looks like a great option for a front plate. Should be worth a try, just make sure your parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and homelink all work with it installed. If not, Amazon has a pretty easy return process. Please share your results if you go through with it.

I Just recieved my tow hook plate holder today. Should be installing it in the next day or two.
I'll take progress photos and share them.

What are tow hooks for?
i ask again, what are tow hooks for exactly?? I'm not understanding. A Quattro with auto trans cannot! be towed! It must be put on flatbed. So then what are the tow hooks for????

The tow hooks are for the truck to winch your car onto the flatbed. Or they are a point for them to attach their winch on the front or back of your car to pull you out of the ditch or median.
