Default Trunk Panel Removal?

2011 A8 with B&O system. I'm trying to access the components behind the rear seats. It is covered with a removable panel (behind rear seats) from the trunk, but the B&O subwoofer enclose hangs down from the rear deck to the point where I can't simply pull the panel back. I've seen video where the D4 A8 with Bose has no subwoofer enclosure and the rear panel pulls out easy as can be.

So what's the solution? Ultimately I only want to tap into the wires to the factory sub so that I can feed them to a powered sub in the trunk.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have or will have same issue as I am planning on adding a subwoofer in the future. While the overall sound quality and design of the B&O system is superb, the bass output is inadequate for a system of this caliber. Currently researching the best way to resolve this with minimal intrusion. Thinking of installing a JL Audio Subwoofer box in trunk with dedicated amplifier. Would love to hear what others have done in this regard and yes, also searching on this topic as well.

The best thing to do is access Audi USA ErWin and download all documents for your vin. There will be a procedure on how to remove every panel!
