My theory is revision 1 vs 2 of the ecu but I have no clue if it a software programming issue or the ecu itself. I do know that ver 2 ecu can hold multiple tunes and ver 1 only 1. Face-lift and up have version 2 to my knowledge.

yes you can.i actually was playing last night with vcds and i remember seeing that opsion somewhere.mine was at 600s set and it was an option to make new values,didnt touch it since mine somehow stays for around 30 min ON or more.but if u search in forum i remember seeing someone who did adjust it since i dont remember where exactly was located.

Start/ Stop light inverse, Amber markers off and green menu are 1 touch scripts in the app. Same area for needle sweep. Credits are cheap, about $1.50 for ten.
Jack88 has posted a pretty comprehensive list of mods, step by step in this forum. Check it out.
start small a make a note of settings before u change things. I haven't tried anything in the green menu. Be careful there. some links to other modifications

Implemented with my 2015 S8. Shows either D1, D2, D3 etc.or S1, S2, S3 etc. as it shifts or you paddle it. Actually, when I also did the obscure Efficiency program mod just to play with a bit (still inconclusive), it then displays E1, E2, E3, etc. Did it on my D3 too, and have it in Q5.

Please help / A8 2013
I need help with couple of things because I am going blind searching for answers. With coding / Ross cable / VCDS, I am trying to enable on a US 2013 A8 4.0T euro style parking lights, I can do anything with the headlamps, but the rear is not coming on. Also, PDC sensors enabled to go on automatically when approaching something in the front, without pressing the P button twice. I cannot get to see the battery level option anywhere after the coding and my fuel cap opens only when I press the Valet mode on. I am guessing that the previous owner played a little with the coding and now I have to address some of the issues.
Advice for reasonable price on brake pads, rotors, filters / choice of brands also greatly appreciated. I am just a week old proud owner
