Very impressed with this car. My dealer let me take an A8 for the weekend last fall and an A8L again just recently.

Would love to get the B&O but I had it on my S8 and while it was really special, it adds nothing to the value of the car. This is an option that is overpriced by 3400 dollars and even at that price, a questionable purchase.

Sounds fairly similar to the car I have arriving at port in a few days. Congrats!!! BTW, did you catch an existing allocation slot already in the order bank, or will it be a longer wait?

I caught one in the Que. that could still be changed. I'm happy for that.

Did it have an assigned production week?

Beautiful car and colour combination! I test drove an A8 with these specs last weekend and very nearly ordered the car on the spot...the lease on my M6 was up and I was torn between the A8 and the 750i. Even though I ended up with an `11 MSport 750i xDrive I was left very impressed and having a great deal of respect for the A8. Good luck with your car!

This is when time no longer flys by.

Better hope that your car didn't go through production with defective airbag software installed. My car has been sitting at the port in Rhode Island for over 3 weeks waiting for a software update to correct this problem. Seems to have affected all recently manufactured U.S. spec A8s.

I've got 3 weeks remaining until my D3 lease terminates---No D4 delivery by then, and I might just go for a Panamera.
