Hi all,
My 2016 A8L TDI is almost out of warranty. I like to ask if this vibration also affect TDI? Now that I have hear all the stories here, I kinda feel the vibration myself.
Just wondering how many TDI has the same problem.

I know I shouldn't be too mad because my car was out of warranty when I paid for the downpipe replacement out of my own pocket but it still burns me that some Audi dealerships are fixing this under a TSB that should be f-n' recall.

All that said I still love my car and I hope you do too.

I had posted serveral weeks ago that I was between a 2015 and a 2016 S8.... decided to go with the 2016 and it has the 1k/3k vibration. Am dropping it off to the dealer later this week. Thanks to this thread when I was doing my research pre-purchase, or I never would have put it together that there was a problem!

Parts on order for my 2016. I purchased the car two weeks ago. About 36,000 miles but warranty expires in November. Gave car to Audi for a full used car inspection. No fuss about repairing vibration issue under warranty.

Work done. Downpipes and gaskets replaced. No charge including a fuse needing replacing. The car is now truly a pleasure. It’s an A8.

Hey, any update on all of this? I've been so excited to finally have an Audi, not to mention an A8....I've got a 2014, so out warranty and I just passed 50k miles. Got my engine mount replaced because in the PPI they said that's what the problem was and I'm still getting the vibration at 3k (not 1k anymore after the engine mount fix). It blows my mind that a once 100k+ car has issues like this so soon and so I was wondering if they ever helped you out?

I'm not looking forward to taking my car into the dealership at all....
