What is this under the driver dash board?
Hi,
I took the car into the dealership for the 45k maintenance. When it was done and back home, I saw something hanging down from underneath the dash board. Some kind of connector. Did they forgot to un-hook it??
Please see pic..
Thanks

It ia your Savvy plug in to the OBDII port for a Valentine V1 radar detector. Or...a prior owner's if not yours. If not yours, then FY it wires the radar detector directly to that port instead of having to cut it into wiring somewhere or use a cigarette lighter plug, plus it passes a speed signal which mutes the detector below the speed set on the simple dial if you have lots of city type interference.

If no detector in car, doesn't really matter what you do with it. Typical (almost only) permanent mounting position is up by rear view mirror on drivers side near where visor clips in. You can look for what looks like a flat telephone phone type cable up there if you have any interest. That should be how it is connected at the end dangling down. Thus, you can just disconnect it there and tuck the cable up into dash area for posterity.
