Wheel and tire size calculation and fender gap
Hi all,
My stock 2016 A8L currently has 255/45R20 all around. If I change to a 21" wheel with tire size of 275/35R21, will the gap between the tire and fender going to be wider or narrower?? Thanks, Anthony |
It's not really stock as it stands...
Stock should be 265/40-20. If the size you mention is really on the car, the tire diameter will drop slightly for the 21's--about ½" diameter reduction, or 1/4" more gap. |
Thanks MP4.2+6.0
I was really hoping you would see this post and response. Have a great day. |
@antmay based upon the what should be stock for a 20" wheel, you'd be near perfect.
