Any VAG-COM settings that the community has found useful that I should have the dealer take care of while I'm there? Any other heads-up for delivery day? Lastly, is there a searchable PDF of the owner's and MMI manuals? I found a PDF version that is a low resolution graphic that isn't searchable. Thx.

+1. I accessed both the owner's manual and the MMI manual before I picked mine up and tried to read through for anything I didn't already know from both D3 and Q5. (Q5 MMI is very similar to D4). Even then, I found I wanted to review it again the first night after driving it a few hours--including in rain and night--to figure some more new features out.

Yeah, I'm psyched. But it will be a couple of weeks before I can get it into my clear bra, paint correction guy, so the real driving will have to wait a bit.

TW, thanks for link to Audi Manual. Anyway to create a PDF in case I need to access offline? Also, MP4, I don't see where the MMI manual is available; only the Owner's Manual shows up when I enter my VIN.

I tried a VIN for a car I was interested in on an iPad and I had to rotate to landscaped to get the hyperlinks to display. Maybe try another S8 VIN to get the MMI manual.

Newbie Canadian here... I couldn't get onto the site due to my location. Not a tinfoil hat guy at all, but the Canadian Audi site gave me access without the need for any personal information. Might be worth a try. As others have observed, the "search" function seems limited to non-existent. Using the Table of Contents thought, I was able to find answers to most of questions that I had.

Audirb, I am experiencing vicarious excitement over your S8+ purchase. Your posts over the last couple of weeks generated comments from S8 owners that got me back on track insofar as moving forward with my S8+ purchase, which should arrive in a couple of months.
