Today is Wednesday! Picked my new 2017 S8+ this afternoon and all I can say is WOW! And I haven't even put it through its paces yet (gotta wait for clear bra guy and then there's the break in period). So here's the skinny: Daytona Gray, Vermont Brown (love this interior), B&O, Black Optic, Driver's Assistance, Cold Weather, All-weather mats, Wheel Locks. So much to play with. Even in traffic this beast is quiet and relaxing, and then boom, you're off like a bat out of hell.
Getting paint corrected, Xpel Ultimate full front (also door edges and few other spots), Ceramic Pro, and tint (probably SunTek Carbon (might go SunTek Ceramic but like the blacker look of the Carbon)). I'll take more pics after then, which is when I'll really be able to drive it.
Thanks again for everyone's help.

+1. I accessed both the owner's manual and the MMI manual before I picked mine up and tried to read through for anything I didn't already know from both D3 and Q5. (Q5 MMI is very similar to D4). Even then, I found I wanted to review it again the first night after driving it a few hours--including in rain and night--to figure some more new features out.

Go on line and see if it is on the Audi USA site once you enter your VIN. In 2015 for my S8 it was two separate books. It could have been combined though. There was also a quick start booklet/guide, the warranty and service book, the emissions warranty stuff (subtle but also valuable if you are in a "CARB state"--CA, west coast, Northeast, etc.). Also an envelope with some basic Audi Connect intro stuff, including the SIM for the 6 month trial period.

I received everything you described except an MMI manual, and I just see the Owner's Manual, Quick Start Guides, and Videos on myAudi with my VIN (no MMI Manual shown). Curious, how many pages is your Owner's Manual? Mine is 351 pages (last page of index) for the 2017 version 11.2016. The Infotainment section is 73 pages.
One other manual question: my manual cover page read's "Owner's Manual 2017 A8". It does not note S8 on the cover although there are references to the S8 inside; is this the correct manual for the S8 or is there another one with the "S8" on the cover? Thx.

I threw a 2017 VIN # into the Audi USA on line manual page for an S8+, and it also gave me a manual that says only A8 on cover. But when you look at pages like for tire pressures or the tech specs, it obviously covers both. Sort of a clue not to take it as 100% Gospel. I remember back in the early Millennium when I called in to Audi USA, I actually reached the guy in charge of all documentation. As he told me--all one of him. He was the whole dep't and basically was telling me how hopelessly behind he was trying to get TSB's published--which you can no longer subscribe to from Audi like you could 20 years ago.
