yacht shifter concept

Here is a pic of the MTU throttles on the motor yacht "Leight Star". I guess I can see a little similarity to the d4 shifter shape.

I understand the resemblance. But more importantly, the gear lever is now a wrist rest for you to use the touchpad. This is crucial to accommodate comfortable, accurate and most importantly, safe MMI control.
