Default You gotta see this -- a true collision repair magician

While a bit off-topic, I thought my fellow D4ers would appreciate the below video. The guy's name is Arthur Tussik and I think he's located in Poland. His repair work on cars that would be considered "totalled" here in the U.S. is really amazing. I'm guessing the auto repair standards in the U.S. might be more stringent, but still. You guys with engineering backgrounds can better address the metallurgical issues re: metal fatigue of re-bent repaired structural parts, etc., but still, his work looks pretty incredible. Wonder how the Bimmer 7-series in the video rode after the repair? If that car tracked straight and wound up squeak and rattle free, then this guy really is a magician.

Default Wow!

quite a job to repair that, 27 days of shop labor here in Maine would be 650 a day
That's over 17,000 plus parts and paint materials say 10k? 27,000 to repair plus who the hell would KNOWINGLY buy that?
Of course labor rates are different there but the testament to his skill is amazing, great video
