I apologize for asking this question out of the blue. Can someone tell me if the cigarette lighter stops feeding power once the car is off? This is really important to me and I will share once I get my car as to why

Confirmed...no power to the 12 volt outlets (3) once the car is off. Includes the cigarette lighter in the front and the two outlets at the back of the front console for the rear passengers.
