Last EPA run was 10/3 and still almost no 2019 Audi's had cleared--only Q7. Next run probably gets published this week. Story suggests the shipments are imminent. They may be here in the ports, but locked up pending EPA clearance and compliance stickers.

That was a pretty good review. More optimistic news re: V8 availability.

Just was told that sales training was held at Audi's training facility in New Jersey last week for my New York area dealer. They were also prepping for dealer tech training. The sales guys got to get up-close looks at the D5, new A6 and Q8. My salesperson mainly sells Porsches, but was quite impressed with these new Audis. Also found out that dealers have to purchase all new tech equipment to flip all new gen Audi vehicles out of "transport mode" into "delivery mode." Something new that will have all the dealers scrambling over each other to acquire this new mandatory equipment before the devices get back-ordered. Last minute news dropped on dealer service departments---Gotta love how Audi plans this stuff out, even with their dealers...just another blip in Audi's abysmally confusing new vehicle launch program(s). Bahhh!!!

Speaking of: Predictive active suspension arrives as an option next summer (active suspension is standard now).Fu**, so is this predictive suspension hydraulic, or on air?!

Just to close the loop on this.

The system is 100% on air, even the super fancy Audi AI one. The AI one just has a motor at each wheel that counteracts body roll and can ram a wheel into a whole or lift it before a bump, but the fancy system coming in 2019 is indeed running on the standard air suspension, at the very least.

I just realized the typo in this article.

" Speaking of: Predictive active suspension arrives as an option next summer (active suspension is standard now).
