My 2015 A8's MMI trip computer's Google earth will not boot up since yesterday. What's up and what can I do to fix this?

Known issue. They are upgrading the services for the older vehicles. They are hoping to be done with it on Monday according to Audi connect support.

No, there wasn't. I had to call Audi connect support to find out what the heck is going. Not receiving communiques about events like this is the frustrating part about this episode.

I didn't drive my car today and I haven't heard anything about it being back. Calling Audi connect support now plays a recorded message that they are working on it, so it sounds like it's still not resolved. I'm guessing it will take a few more days.

You have an A8 D5? I think not. Your car is a 2015 model year—A D4 platform. D4= MY 2011 thru MY 2018 in the U.S. This is the new D5 A8 which is not yet available here in the U.S. ———
