As per the German D5 forum, there is a MMI update coming very shortly. The dealers have to order additional memory cards to fit to the D5 in order to upgrade the software for the MMI.

Apparently it is a very very long list of bug fixes and such for the system and takes about 6 hours to do. This update is coming next week (1st week of Feb)

I don't have any updates for any generic software updates but I do have TSBs for software updates that fix certain issues.

For those inquiring, is there something happening in your MMI that has you seeking an update? If so pls list the symptoms and I will, as always, share what I know/have access to info wise.

The main issue is CarPlay bugs. Sometimes when the phone connects to CarPlay screen shows the green border, but no icons. The other issue is related to audio not coming back in the car after using the iPhone.

Also, hoping for an update for the self-parking app/features.

I can only partially assist with the first one in regards to the audio not coming back after using the iPhone. It appears the issue has been present for sometime based on the TSB (attached) and is a bug known to Apple which they should have released a fix by now. Have you tried updating the iOS?

I do not have an update for anything else. I just checked Erwin for anything else pertaining to the iPhone and the MMI, but there isn't anything, sadly.
