Once I get some ideas from folks about what you all do in the dead of winter that will be helpful!! I'm now researching how to wash cars in one's garage in the winter....yikes.
Sure, all dark colors look amazing on A8. Vesuvius Grey, Navarra Blue (looks really amazing with light reflections) , Seville Red and Mythos Black. If you are going with a shade of black, I think Vesuvius will look better as it behaves differently under reflection and it is not just a dead black.

I started researching ceramic coating.

I came across this. Thoughts? (removal of ceramic coating and such really turns me off). I am a HUGE Menzerna Power Lock guy!

Can’t imagine why you’d want to remove a ceramic costing under normal circumstances. You can also Wax over the ceramic coating with a nano-glass impregnated wax (Pinnacle makes a very good version that I use) that adds additional gloss and protection. Here’s what my D4 looked like following application of ceramic coating and nano-glass wax.

Curious what your ceramic coating looks like after a few months of exposure to washing/environment. Ps what colour is that?! Looks awesome.

Two years later after another nano-glass waxing. It’s Panther Black pearl effect (Audi Exclusive color on the D4). I know, looks completely different from the prior indoor pic under fluorescent garage lights.

Thanks. No swirl marks on your ceramic coat?

No swirl marks, but there are a few surface scratches after 4 years. Pic is from last year...Has held up pretty good I think.

Based on my understanding, if you were to resolve that, you'd have to get it taken off, and then reapplied, right? Is there anything you can do to fix that yourself?

Based on that info I'll decide if I'm sticking with a paint sealant....thanks
