Default Rear A8L Floormats D4 vs D5

I'm seeking help on determining fit/compatibility of the 2019 A8 rear floormats for my 2015 A8 L. It's a sad story really...

I recently purchased the front Premium Textile Floor Mats (4H1061275MNO) thinking that if I like them I would get the matching rear set. Of course I liked them but what I did not know at the time that the rear matching (according to the accessory catalog) mats are not long enough (4H0061276MNO).

Knowing that the new 2019 is pretty darn close to the previous generation in terms of dimensions I wanted to get the opinion of someone who has a 2019 on whether I should consider these: 4N4061276MNO - PREMIUM TEXTILE FLOOR MATS. If someone would be willing to post a picture with rough dimensions of their 2019 rear mats that would be really nice.

RC

I am going thru the same thing trying to get matching rear carpet mats (w/ the silver piping) for my D3 A8L. There is a big difference on the length of the rear carpet mats between a regular A8 vs A8L...

Anyone here willing to throw a measuring tape on the rear mats of their 2019? The most important measure would be the distance between the centerpoint of the clips.

Here you go:

Very top narrow width is 14.25".
Full width is 21.75".
Full length is 23.125".
Width between the counterpoints of the attachment holes is 16.25".

Correction in bold above.

Thanks for your help gb4.2. For once the information on https://parts.audiusa.com appears to be correct. Ain't no way the new mats will fit in a D4. The only measurement that was the same was the top narrow width. The rest were 2-3 inches larger.

For those looking for more legroom in back of their A8 L, the D5 appears to be a solid upgrade ;-)

I personally prefer the 3D series of mats for my A8L. These mats are nicer than the ones Audi supplies and cover the maximum floor space possible, while being fully water proof and form fitting
