Glad it worked! BTW, if it helps with your bluetooth problem to compare telephones, I have an Iphone X.

Mine is an iPhone 7 Plus. It connects just fine with our other 3 vehicles and a bunch of cars I have rented over the years. I keep it updated with all the latest OS patches. We bought a 2018 Honda Odyssey back in July 2017 for our grand kids hauler (no ice cream is allowed in the Audi!). Same issue there along with a bunch of other issues which have been well documented on line. Like Audi the electronics were not ready for prime time. After 3 over the air updates everything works fine now. I'm confident Audi will be doing the same thing and the issues will get resolved. It's the old get it out the door and let the field fix it. I feel sorry for the dealers getting bombarded with all the software issues coming out of the factories. It's an issue with all the manufacturers, and there is nothing the dealers can do to fix it.

Do you have the 4 wheel steering on your new A8? If not stop by your dealer and drive one with it. It is truly remarkable the difference it makes. It really should be a standard feature in my opinion. The big car turns on a dime!

Does Audi perform OTA firmware updates (non-Maps updates that is) on the A8 or do you still have to schedule a service to have it done (like the rest of their models) unlike many other car manufacturers?

Audi's ota updates are for the maps only. For the MMI firmware that requires a visit to the service department.

I don't have the four wheel steering. Miss not having that feature when in tight parking lots.
