Went to see the D5 at my dealer today...
Mythos Black metallic/Sarder Brown interior
Like the car much better in person vs. photos I’ve seen for the last year. It’s a tad taller than the D4 on paper, but actually looks lower—a more sporty stance to my eye. Wife says it’s sportier looking then our D4.
The 20” all-season tires are Pirelli Cinturato P7 with the internal sound deadening insulation. Dealer also had a bunch of Q8’s on the lot. The Q8 is a large vehicle—looks nice though.

it's better in person than in pics that's correct.
so you find it to be a large vehicle. Me too and I have the SWB.
but you have a LWB?

I was actually referring to the Q8 in the above pic as being a large vehicle. The D5 A8L is larger than my D4 A8L by a little over an inch, but it’s appearance seems to play a little smaller to my eye at least.
The D5 I saw was a little light on options (based on how I’d spec it): had the Executive package and 20” wheels, black cloth headliner, and Cold Weather package— but was missing the Luxury and Lighting packages.

Very VERY happy to hear about the P7 Cinturato. Great tire.
I despise Good Year.

This waiting game is agonizing.

Thought that was not available yet? It should make a world of difference, as mine does not have it and I feel like I have to turn the steering wheel a bit more than I had to on my 750i for a tighter turn.
