Default 1990 Audi 100 Quattro Heater Issues

Hey there,
I have a 1990 Audi 100 Quattro I have owned the car for about two months issue free. The heat only comes from the defrost vents, even though ill have it set to Auto or Bi-Level...
its starting to get really cold up here in New York and I would love to fix my heater, is there any electrical diagrams so I can make sure everything connected properly....

Thanks for any help you guys can give to me.

Default

Defrost is the default failure mode..if something is broken..the defrost is what the system will do.

I don't recall is the 1990 models had a vacuum operated system (I think it is) or an electronic system with motors.

I would check the vacuum system..hoses and connectors.

You can test the system using some clues from here too: Climate Control Diagnostics and Repair
