2.0E AAD Over flooding with petrol
I have an audi 100 with a 2.0E AAD engine and its choking itself on petrol. the mixture is so strong that it wont even start most of the time. I checked the whole ignition system and changed spark plugs so it gets a good spark. I pulled off the top of air filter box(that MAF/fuel rail apparatus 
) and it was all smeared in petrol on the inside.
What could possibly be causing this?
