97 A6Q Avant...I replaced headlight washer pump and thought maybe that had something to do with headlights not working now, but now thinking maybe the headlights stopped working the previous night when I shut the car off....occasionally when driving with the low beams & fog lights on the voltage meter will drop down to about 12V for a second and lights will dim but then go back to normal, don't know if this is related or not.
Anyone have any ideas....when I lift the stalk up on the column the dash will illuminate, chimes if I open the door as normal. No low beam, no fog lights front or rear (the switches won't illuminate either), no high beam (except the flash to pass when stalk is pulled back)....All these work - parking lights, turn signals, tail lights, brake lights, illumination for everything else on dash...
I wouldn't think it would be the ignition switch with the symptoms I described and only the lighting circuit being affected, leaning more towards a headlight switch or relay, but not sure.......anyone have similar problems?
