Audi 100 Estate 2ltr AAD engine Fault Code 587
 

I have just had an Audi diagnostic on my car, as it has recently started to idle erratically occassionally (when warm), and also doesn't fire up briskly when cool, just sort of rumbles into life ( sometimes you have to give a squirt on the accelerator). The fault codes that came up were: 520 Air Mass/Flow meter (the Audi garage says this comes up regularly and might be ignored) but the other code was 587 Adjustment Limit Mixture Regulation Adaption Limit Not Reached. Audi man claims they would need to look into this further (££££). I have just looked up codes on Net and found that this code might mean "Bad ECU ground, Air Leak, Leaking Injector". Anyone know about this kind of stuff, and recommend my way to swift resolution. Thank you.
