i have a 1993 Audi 100 E 2.0 litre automatic.

i am having difficulty in checking the automatic trasmission fluid. every time i remove the dip stick it's covered in fluid, i assume from where it's wiping the side of the tube it goes into?

is there any easy way to tell where the actual level is?

i usually take my car to audi dealer to check for AT fluid check. they don't charge for this.

I wish I had a dipstick! Ehmmm, for my transmission! : )
