Blauparts customer service??
So I ordered a timing belt kit from Blauparts for my 97 a6Q. I received the kit and installed it on my car. Both of the tensioners didn't work. One had too small a hole and the other too big. So I emailed Blauparts about it. They replied that I had mistakenly ordered the kit for the 95 a6. This is the email I got from them:
The email sent to the orders desk has been forwarded to this department. The kit that you ordered is for a 95 A6. The correct kit for your vehicle is the GH21111-C, I can sell this kit to you with a 15% discount, it would come with the free serpentine belt. If you want to replace only the incorrect parts the break down is as follows:
GD42104 Water pump $89.95
GH23117 Tensioner $49.95
GH23116 Tensioner $47.95
GJ16510 Serp belt $18.95
The most cost effective for you would be to buy the correct kit with the discount. You can always try to sell the incorrect kit on eBay as slightly used for a 1995 A6.

So does it seem rediculous to think they would offer an exchange if I send the parts back to them? Seems pretty bad that they tell me to buy a new kit and sell the other on ebay? Sheesh.
