Clutch problems?
Hey all. I recently came into possession of my mothers old 1993 Audi 100. It's a 2.8 V6 FWD 5 speed manual transmission. It's just turned over to 118XXX miles. I've been driving the car for about a month now and recently I've been having difficulty getting the car into 1st or Reverse from a dead standstill. Once in nothing things seem to work better. Also when outside air temp, as well as car temps, warm up it seems to improve. I'm not sure if this could be clutch related or fluid related. I discovered that the master cylinder is under the dash attached to the peddle but have not been able to figure out where the fluid reservoir Is located. Help would be appreciated.

The clutch master cylinder should have a feed line from the brake fluid reservoir..it doesn't have its own separate reservoir..as I recall.
I would bleed the brakes and clutch slave..your brake fluid is probably original and long overdue for a change.
I would also change the transmission gearbox oil..for the same reason..overdue.
Once you have fresh oil in the gearbox and new brake fluid in the system..see how it works..got to be an improvement.
