Electrical problems

HELLO I AM HAVING A FEW PROBLEMS WITH MY 95 A6 2.8 WAGON. FIRST SOMETIMES WHEN I PUT THE VEHICLE IN R OR D IT WILL STALL OR JUST CUT OUT AND IT WILL RESTART. THIS MAY HAPPEN TWO OR THREE TIMES, BUT IF KEEP THE ACCELERATOR PUSHED DOWN IT WILL NOT. IN ADDITION, MY ODOMETER TRIP METER IS NOT LIT. HOW DO I GET IT WORKING AGAIN? PLEASE HELP.

You need to clean the Idle Air Control valve, common problem with the 2.8V6. Search forum for how-to
