Got Accident Estimate: Seems Too Low
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/3136/1992_audi_100s__accident_12-19-03_009.2.jpg"></center><p>What does everyone think? When I get a chance, I'll have a friendly body-shop take a look, I'm currently driving with the damage.
The estimate adds up to $1,833.39 and includes $980 for labor (28 hours @$35 per hour) Estimate does not currently include an allowance for rental car, but I assume that will be thrown in. |

If the repair includes a new right rear fender (not just straightening), then it is probably OK....
But judging by the amount of deformation and the LOW labor cost of $35/hr, I would judge the estimate to be low. I would suggest obtaining at least two more estimates from an experienced German body repair shops to be sure.

Sounds a little low but looks like reusing the trunk lid. Doesn't it amaze you the quater panel is
cheaper than so many other parts? The sliding sunroof canopy for the car is 591.00 go figure.

Is this estimate from a body shop or insurance company???
